There are 3 very worthwhile and marketable books from the "Up and Gone..." narrative:

1."Up and Gone to Carolina"-an inward journey through the past to a new beginning

2. "The Big Pancake"-a celebration of sisterhood through the eyes of two adults and their BFF daughters brought together by "the "Big Pancake"

3. "The land of Sex. Sin. Sun"-a personal memoir of over indulgence to emotional sobriety

We are all very fortunate to participate and receive these "early galleys."

Does anyone have any contacts, or friends of friends, at magazines, University Publishing Presses, etc.?

The work is too good not to reach a wider audience and acknowledgment.

Correction: Your mother would have suggested lunch and a LOT of shopping. <3

Haha! I think she would have claimed we were going out for a little shopping which inevitably would have turned out to be "a LOT."

Amazing side of your story I never knew about! And as usual, beautifully and funnily told. And deeply honest. I might even say, rigorously honest! 😉
